Tour de Vin 2025: May 3–4

On the first weekend of May, the traditional Austrian wineries of the Kremstal, Kamptal, Traisental, and Wagram regions will be opening their cellar doors! We look forward to your visit!

Join us for exciting workshops, exclusive wine premieres, and guided walks through our cellars or vineyards. We’re excited to chat with you over a glass of wine or sparkling wine and discuss current topics with you.

Our friends from Michelin-starred kitchens will be serving up simply delicious bites to accompany the experience.

Saturday, 3rd of May

Tour de Vin opening with Weißwurst and Bründlmayer sparkling wine!
The legendary Huberwirt from Pleiskirchen in Bavaria (1* Guide Michelin) will be kicking things off with freshly cooked Weißwurst sausages—perfectly paired with our Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine at the morning Sekt-Frühschoppen.

13:00 KAMPTAL DAC NEW with Burgundy varieties - A wine update! 30 min. including a short tasting and discussion with Andreas Wickhoff MW & Thomas Klinger.
Since 2025, white Burgundy varieties (Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay) are officially recognized under the Kamptal DAC origin. Why was this change made, and what does it mean for the profile of Kamptal wines?

Erste Lagen - En Primeur:
Only on Sunday, our 2023 wine jewels from Käferberg, Spiegel, Heiligenstein and Lamm can be tasted and purchased at the attractive En Primeur price before their official sales launch in the fall.

In the vineyard

Animals and humans are currently creating quite a buzz in the vineyard! There’s knocking, hammering, humming, chirping, and trilling—it's a joy! We've completed the vine pruning. After the usual repair work on the terraces and wire trellises, our focus now turns to the soil and the vegetation sprouting from it.

The weather is showing its typical April moodiness, and we’re quite pleased with it: over the past few weeks, we've received the desired rainfall through a series of showers. The vines will now be able to mobilize sufficient energy. Budbreak was slightly delayed due to cooler temperatures—which is a good thing! It gives us hope that we’ll get through the period until after the Ice Saints without major setbacks.
