BRÜNDLMAYER FIZZ NON-ALCOHOLIC
We are delighted by the positive press response to our alcohol-free alternatives!
The ‘je ne sais quoi’ of naturalness
“Compared with dealcoholised sparkling wines, the Fizz Blanc and Fizz Rosé not only have the advantage of a better ecological conscience; in the glass, one can also sense the je ne sais quoi of naturalness and, despite the blending of various botanical products, an almost reassuring inner logic that many of the technologically dismantled ‘Formerly known as Wine’ products lack,” says Anna Burghardt in Die Presse.
(quoted from: Die Presse Online, Sun. 3 May: Anna Burghardt: “Note: No wine was harmed in the making of this product”)
This is a milestone in the development of alcohol-free sparkling “wines”, as the alcohol is not laboriously removed. Sparkling wine pioneer Willi Bründlmayer and his team have composed the Fizz from verjus, grape juice, and other alcohol-free ingredients. On the nose: fruity, with notes of citrus, bergamot, stone fruit, and grape; on the palate: an invigorating mousse, pleasantly dry, with fruit sweetness balanced only by fine acidity, again showing citrus notes and a delicate spiciness.”
