Best Sekt Austria Reserve in the new Falstaff Wine Guide 25/26
Bründlmayer Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut Reserve 2016 has been awarded 96 points in the new Falstaff Wine Guide to open the table of honour for outstanding wines/sparkling wines 2025! A delicate mousseux, fruity sweetness, liveliness and a finesse-rich finish are just some of the characteristics that Falstaff editor-in-chief Peter Moser emphasises in his review. The team at the specialist magazine Vinaria had already showered the Bründlmayer Blanc de Noirs 2016 with roses in the spring: ‘Bründlmayer's fantastic Blanc de Noirs 2016 Extra Brut is hard to beat in terms of depth and substance and continues to improve minute by minute.’ - Vinaria, issue no. 2, 2025
Only a few bottles of this outstanding vintage sparkling wine are still available in the shop.
The following three sparkling wines also received the highest score of 96 points in the Falstaff tasting ‘Sparkling Wine: The Best of All Time’ in the € 20-50 price category:
2017 Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Grosse Reserve, 2017 Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs Langenlois Grosse Reserve and 2014 Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Grosse Reserve.
The first two sparkling wines are sold out, so the anticipation is quite high for the new edition of the 2014 Bründlmayer Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Sekt Austria Große Reserve, which will be released in autumn!
