Our Langenlois Alte Reben Grüner Veltliner achieved an extremely rare feat: the 2023 vintage won the title of best Kamptal local wine in the Falstaff tastings in two consecutive years with 94/100 points each. This not only points to the wine's current good performance, but also to its secure development potential. The charming creation from Langenlois vineyards such as Käferberg, Schenkenbichl and Spiegel is already a versatile accompaniment to food.
At present, we particularly like to drink it with traditional Austrian cuisine such as baked vegetables, fried chicken or schnitzel, but as it matures in the bottle, it also grows in its ability to accompany elegant and complex dishes from local and international cuisine and to show them in the right light, so to speak, without pushing itself too much into the foreground.
