Ried Heiligenstein Riesling
2024
1ÖTW Erste Lage Kamptal DAC

Bright golden yellow with green highlights. Subtle peach notes, delicate hints of blossom honey, lime zest, and ripe nectarines; an attractive bouquet. Good complexity, juicy, with a mineral core and notes of yellow stone fruit; finely structured, with excellent persistence; well-developed and balanced, with hints of yellow fruit in the mineral finish; a promising future.
The Bründlmayer family owns 12 hectares right in the centre of the Zöbinger Heiligenstein. It's not only the oldest but probably also the most interesting vinyard on our estate: the soil consists of approximately 270 Mio years old Perm desert sandstone.
