Ried Berg Vogelsang
Grüner Veltliner
2023
Kamptal DAC

Bouquet of pome fruit, accompanied by hints of citrus as well as flowery and spicy tones (white flowers, yeast). Crisp, dry, medium bodied and nicely balanced; opens up in the glass and offers more fragrant fruit reminiscent fresh cut apples and pears, hints of herbs, with a pleasantly salivating mineral finish. A rare Grüner (growing) on the rocks!

Ried Spiegel Grau- & Weißburgunder
2022

A bouquet of refined, yellow fruit accents, hay flowers and juvenile yeast underlined with a hint of brioche; first a silky mouthfeel, then dry and very fresh but quite juicy, medium bodied, with hints of pome fruit and a subtle dash of mango, elegant grip, a touch of herbs, a lot of spice and minerals in the finale. A highly pleasurable, Burgundian-style of wine; this is an extremely versatile food-companion that might equally please red- and white wine drinkers, should they wish to agree on one single bottle for the meal.
Food pairing recommendation
Extremely versatile with food - from traditional Austrian to Pan-Asian cuisine; from pork scallop to stir fried meat and vegetables; this wine is a very charming partner to a large range of dishes without imposing its own character but supporting the tastes of a variety of ingredients.
Grüner Veltliner "The Heritage Cuvée" Wine Society
2021

Crisp, fresh Grüner Veltliner with a fine melting texture, elegant but multi-layered, including alternating hints of blossom, apple, citrus, ginger and quince.
Burgtheater Zweigelt Reserve
2020

A fine fruit display of dark cherries, extremely juicy; behind it also yellow notes like mango, open-hearted & tempting; powerful and fine-grained, deep cherry fruit once more paired with a hint of evergreen, elegantly structured, lots of dynamic tension & acidity into the long aftertaste, in this form rather something new.
Food pairing recommendation
For pastas and barbecues in summer, roasted veal and pork, veal and pork leaver, young venison and lamb, soft cheese dishes when more mature…
Ried Rosenhügel
Gelber Muskateller
2019

Intense aroma of wild roses, spicy at the same time, well matured fruit, exotic and stone fruit, cherries, openhearted, almost tropical; really juicy on the front palate, citrus, lively acid element with good structure and grip, builds up an enormous array of fruit, pineapple, lychee, creamy, candied lemon peel, fresh and lively, salty finale, persistent due to its structure.

Food pairing recommendation
The Gelber Muskateller is a very versatile food companion, fitting to, for example, a range of exotic dishes, seafood, curries, wok dishes, and to typical Austrian specialties as well - such as baked foods, roast pork, duck and liver. It also marries well with cheeses, casseroles or robust fish dishes. After an intense culinary evening, the wine also makes an ideal after-dinner refreshment wine, served cool.
Ried Steinmassl
Riesling
2017
1ÖTW Erste Lage Kamptal DAC

The Steinmassel, formerly understandably categorized as Reserve, offers a brilliant opening act: an elegantly drawn blend of gooseberry and red peach, lively and already multi-layered with a robust base note that continues on the palate with crystal clear, pale fruit nuances. Exhilarating, yet also simultaneously deep; impressive substance pairs with a fine, racy play of acid. Long finish and plenty of potential for further development. Unquestionably the best Steinmassel ever.
Viktor Siegl
Ultra good drinking here, simple and vital done well, juicy green apple flavours, cut of citrusy acidity. It’s fragrant and fun, bright and fresh, good length, tightly wound, riesling DNA writ large. No brainer for good times.
