- This charming 2025 Grüner Veltliner from our Kamptal terraces is almost dangerously enjoyable to drink! For “A la Carte” wine director Willi Balanjuk, it ranks among the absolute classics for the 2026 season: “Light color, youthful, intense nose, grapefruit, verbena, almonds, powerful, firm structure, tight, fruity-spicy finish, good length”

Food pairing recommendation
A perfect companion to many starters such as smoked trout, ham, cold vegetables, sea food, tapas, or fresh marinated goat cheese with herbs; also very good with fish barbecue, or roasted chicken, Asian dishes if not too hot such as Dim Sum, or Wok, fine with ‘Vegan Cuisine’.
Ried Berg Vogelsang Grüner Veltliner

Bouquet of pome fruit, accompanied by hints of citrus as well as flowery and spicy tones (white flowers, yeast). Crisp, dry, medium bodied and nicely balanced; opens up in the glass and offers more fragrant fruit reminiscent fresh cut apples and pears, hints of herbs, with a pleasantly salivating mineral finish. A rare Grüner (growing) on the rocks!
