Citrus peel, white flowers, stone fruit and gooseberry dominate the graceful aromatic arc, delicate and bright fruit nuances on the palate, dry, fresh and pure with more yellow fruit and great acidity to match leading to a mineral and slightly spicy finish.

The Steinmassel, formerly understandably categorized as Reserve, offers a brilliant opening act: an elegantly drawn blend of gooseberry and red peach, lively and already multi-layered with a robust base note that continues on the palate with crystal clear, pale fruit nuances. Exhilarating, yet also simultaneously deep; impressive substance pairs with a fine, racy play of acid. Long finish and plenty of potential for further development. Unquestionably the best Steinmassel ever.

Ultra good drinking here, simple and vital done well, juicy green apple flavours, cut of citrusy acidity. It’s fragrant and fun, bright and fresh, good length, tightly wound, riesling DNA writ large. No brainer for good times.

A cool beginning with scents of pine forest, juniper and red peach leaping out of the glass. Hearty and robust; very lively with a good medium body, crisp freshness and ample extract; chisseled with vibrant acidity that is soon to integrate completely. Beautiful grip.

Smoky beginning, with touches of both yellow and white peaches and a cool-tart note. Spicy and savoury with medium weight and a vibrant, racy freshness; quite muscular with a firm acidity backbone. Impeccable. Will soon be ready for drinking pleasure.
