Wine Diary
From the vine to the hive
A strange ‘grape’ discovered in the Steinberg vineyard! Yesterday, a swarm of bees settled with their queen on one of our old St Laurent vines, whilst scout bees searched for a new home. Our beekeeper Julia made the little colony an attractive offer of accommodation. Now the numerous little guests are already raving about their fine Bründlmayer hive!

A positive mood!
The Bründlmayer stand was also a hit at the VIVINUM weekend. The wine fair attracted over 15,000 wine lovers and trade visitors to the Vienna Hofburg, and we had the pleasure of looking after many of them personally. The atmosphere was extremely positive, though by the end our voices probably sounded more like a sonorous buzz, just like that of our little honey-gatherers.
