For weeks now, our cellar has been filled with the beguiling scent of fermenting musts! A gentle bubbling in varying pitches accompanies us like cheerful music. We can also experience the transformation into wine by observing the intensity of the air bubbles rising in the glass fermentation bells: all together an intriguing sensory experience!

Up in the press house yesterday, we all raised a glass with Willi Bründlmayer to mark the end of the harvest… and to celebrate the milestone birthday of our esteemed estate manager, Andreas Wickhoff, whom we surprised with a small barbecue party. Yes, rumor has it that beer was flowing too, but beneath the garlands of colorful balloons, it was above all the finest ‘bubbles’ from our own production that provided the soundtrack: Bründlmayer Brut Rosé Reserve from a magnum, Fizz Rosé and, as always when we’re celebrating, fine wines from all over the world.
